A Letter to My Patients
Dear Valued Patient:
I am pleased to announce the opening of my new practice effective as of Monday, March 3, 2014.
After long and careful consideration, I decided to leave Emory Cardiovascular Specialists to return to private practice so that I can provide a more personalized style of care for my patients. I remain on the staff of Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta and will continue my role as the hospital’s Chief of Cardiology.
My new office is located at 1100 Johnson Ferry Rd. in Suite #450. My new telephone number is 404-939-9200 and I am available for scheduling new appointments.
I continue to participate with Medicare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia and most managed care plans.
My new office is fully equipped to provide my patients with all of the usual cardiodiagnostic services (EKGs, stress tests, holter monitors, nuclear imaging, etc.) needed to effectively manage your cardiovascular health. However, unlike the same services provided through the hospital, these office-based services are not subject to the much higher co-insurance and deductible requirements typical of most hospital-based services. In that regard, part of the reason I chose to return to private practice is to help my patients reduce the cost of their health care.
Looking forward to seeing you in my new practice.
Sincerely,
Steven J. Eisenberg, M.D.
